As the founder of Sakline Bookkeeping and Bookkeepers Club, as well as the host of the ‘By the Books’ podcast, Lindsay continues to educate, connect, and inspire financial professionals nationwide.
Lindsay’s journey in bookkeeping began at a young age, managing financial records for her father’s construction company. She later pursued a career in accounting, gaining hands-on experience in both corporate and small business finance. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of North Texas, graduating magna cum laude as a Terry Scholar from an AACSB-accredited institution—a distinction held by only 5% of business schools worldwide.

In 2012, she founded Sakline Bookkeeping, a firm that grew to $500K in annual revenue with a team of 10 remote accountants before she successfully sold the business in 2024. Throughout her career, Lindsay has worked with businesses in healthcare, wholesale distribution, real estate, retail, construction, transportation, and service industries, providing expert financial guidance and operational support.

Lindsay is an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), demonstrating her expertise extends to understanding how bookkeeping intersects with taxes. She is also the founder of Bookkeepers Club, a networking and professional development group where bookkeepers collaborate, share best practices, and gain industry insights.
